• Part-time, Contract Mental Health Therapist (LMSW) Rai of SonShine Wellness is an established outpatient mental health practice in Connecticut seeking two (2) Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) to join our growing team.

This is a hybrid, fee-for-service position . One clinician will provide telehealth services , and one clinician will provide in-person services at our Woodbridge location (30 Hazel Terrace, Woodbridge, CT) . This role is ideal for clinicians seeking to strengthen their clinical skills, build a consistent caseload, and work within a structured and supportive private practice setting.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment modalities Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as clinically indicated Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care Collaborate with other providers when appropriate Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards Participate in ongoing training and professional development

QUALIFICATIONS

Active Connecticut LMSW license in good standing (required) Must be located in Connecticut Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program Minimum of three (3) years of mental health experience required (Graduate internship experience will be counted toward this requirement) Active NPI required by start date You can apply here: https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov Current malpractice insurance Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a developing caseload Proficiency with technology, including EHR systems, Google Workspace, and email SimplePractice experience preferred, training provided .
