This is a independent contract therapist position. Our practice provides clinical therapy services to children, teens, adults and older adults both couples, families and individuals. We have a waitlist, so after the therapist is credentialed (which can take 1-6 months depending) that therapist can have as much of a caseload as desired. And if you are a LLMSW you can start immediately. We do require 15 clients minimum as we cover the costs of all programs used, office space, office manager and in house biller. Credentialing can take a while so we are also interested in limited license therapists with experience as well as full licensed providers. Someone who is comfortable working with kids/teens is required. We do offer both telehealth and in person, however our referral list reflects mostly in person requests. We have two locations, both in Ypsilanti and we provide a furnished spacious office. The schedule is flexible. There is an in split fee 60/40.

Responsibilities:

Keep documentation and records of patient care and psychological evaluations, which may be necessary for insurance cases or legal proceedings. Working with clients to determine appropriate therapeutic goals and provide services that meet those goals for the treatment of psychological issues. Attend client group meetings and professional conferences, as well as continuing education courses. Function as a liaison between clients, day programs, hospitals, and community agencies. Perform case reviews with other mental health professionals. Work with clients to determine appropriate therapeutic goals and develop an action plan to meet those goals for the treatment of psychological issues.
