Make a Global Impact — Right From Your Own Community! Do you love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and helping teens have life-changing experiences? Join Youth For Understanding (YFU) as a Local Coordinator and help bring the world a little closer together! As a YFU Local Coordinator, you'll help international exchange students feel at home in the U.S. while supporting host families and schools in your community. You'll help match students with caring families, organize fun local activities, and be a friendly guide throughout the school year. One day you might be helping a student experience their first football game… the next you could be planning a pizza night, holiday gathering, or cultural outing! This role is perfect for people who are outgoing, organized, caring, and passionate about making connections. Many of our coordinators are former host parents, travelers, teachers, or people who simply love bringing cultures together.
