July 1st, 2026POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to facilitate the Agency's child abuse prevention curriculums, I Can Tell and Stewards of Children in schools, child serving organizations, and the community in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of the Grant Award. This position will involve conducting child abuse prevention education in a manner that stimulates community engagement in prevention efforts, promotes education and awareness of child sexual abuse, and holds fidelity to the prevention curriculum. This part-time position is grant funded and time limited to the end of the grant cycle.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement I Can Tell curriculum with fidelity in participating schools and child serving organizations;
- Implement Stewards of Children curriculum with fidelity in participating schools and community organizations;
- Engage community partners and stakeholders in child sexual abuse prevention efforts;
- Builds and maintains positive, on-going relationships with local child serving organizations, schools, and community based organizations and fosters collaboration between schools and community partners for education and prevention efforts;
- Assists with data collection such as surveys, pre/posttests, assessments for project evaluation;
- Regularly reports data and evaluation outcomes to the Program Coordinator, Program Director, and other designated personnel;
- Participate in necessary staff training for relevant educational topics;
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Certifications/Licensures:
Preferred:
Valid driver's license and/or access to a reliable means of transportation sufficient to- carry out job accountabilities and duties.

RA or OCPSA through Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board is required but can be obtained after start of employmentEducation:
Required:
High school diplomaPreferred:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or other field related to the position;Experience and Competencies:
- At least two (2) years' experience working in a school or community based setting required;
- Experience working with and educating children highly preferred;
- Ability to form and maintain effective, professional, and positive relationships with others required;
- Ability to work well, both individually and as part of a team required;
- Adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct required;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
