Immediately Job Description The Ocean State Academy is a fast-growing non-public special education school dedicated to meeting the needs of a diverse student body from communities throughout Rhode Island. We are looking to add qualified educators. Duties and Responsibilities to include:

• Providing support to students with behavioral and emotional disorders
• Consults with parents, teachers, and school districts to problem solve effective interventions
• Participates in the development of individualized education programming
• Serves as liaison between the school and community resources
• Maintains clinical record keeping
• Performs crisis intervention as needed
• Report to the school Principal and works closely with the Dean of Students in supporting the philosophy of the program and maintaining a climate of academic excellence
