We work with adults, children, and families to increase communication and social skills, improve relationships, increase circles of support, and provide therapeutic services based on best-practice research. We believe that people can change, and we work to empower each individual in their own care. Our Functional Family Therapy Foster Care (FFT-FC) and Functional Family Therapy Therapeutic Case Management/Kinship (FFT-TCM) programs are looking for a motivated clinician to provide in-home family therapy services to children and adolescents placed in both foster homes and DCYF licensed kinship homes throughout Rhode Island. NAFI RI is currently seeking a Clinician who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families involved in foster care. This position offers a high level of clinical training, consultation, and supervision to support quality services focused on reunification, permanency, reducing placement disruptions, and strengthening collaboration with foster families, kinship caregivers, and biological families.
Responsibilities Include:
Meet with children placed in NAFI licensed foster homes throughout Rhode Island Meet with children placed in DCYF licensed kinship homes throughout Rhode Island Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each child's unique strengths and needs Build strong, trusting relationships with foster, kinship, and biological families to support permanency goals Conduct assessments, crisis intervention, and therapeutic sessions Participate in weekly FFT consultation and supervision Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and effective care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services Participate in shared on-call rotation

Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or related field preferred, or currently enrolled in a graduate program Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to provide community-based and in-home services throughout
Rhode Island Salary :
$61,000 - $68,000 per year
