Family Advocate (Full Time) Community Care Alliance life insurance, sick time, tuition reimbursement, 403(b), mileage reimbursement United States, Rhode Island, Woonsocket 55 John A Cummings Way (Show on map) May 28, 2026 Family Advocate (Full Time) The Family Support Center offers an array of services to meet people's basic needs: food, rent, utilities, clothing, and more. Work with a Team who are customer-focused. Every person who comes in is evaluated for other needs, either those offered by the Center or another agency program. We also look beyond the person in front of us to consider the needs of the entire household. In this role, you will provide information, referral and advocacy to consumers in our community and distribute basic needs assistance to eligible households. You are perfect for this team if you are a positive person with good verbal and written communication skills. Must be an effective problem-solver.
POSITION SUMMARY
To provide information, referral and advocacy to consumers in our community and distribute basic needs assistance to eligible households.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalency. Experience in a related field preferred. Bilingual (Spanish Preferred).

Able to work in a team environment with diverse populations Able to provide own reliable transportation Able to sit for 80% of workday Able to lift 10 15 # bags of food for distribution Able to demonstrate competency in accessing web-based portals.
