Advertised Job Summary Under general supervision, the Mental Wellness Coordinator will support and expand trauma-informed and mental wellness initiatives within the Byrne SCIP -funded Partnerships for Prevention and Protection (P4) and Handle With Care (HWC ) programs. This role focuses on facilitating P4 student groups, coordinating statewide training on trauma-informed practices, and collaborating closely with the Handle With Care Statewide Coordinator to ensure consistent implementation and data collection across partner sites. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations. This position is established in support of expanded research activities. Required Education and Experience Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with children, youth, or families
- Master of Social Work, Education, or other related graduate degree in a human services field. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of early childhood development and trauma-informed practices
- Experience in facilitating small groups with children
- Familiarity with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and resilience frameworks
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Excellent public speaking and training skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
