Social Worker

This temporary, grant-funded position provides school-based social work services that directly support the STOP (School Violence Prevention) grant goals: preventing school violence, improving school safety, and addressing students' social-emotional and behavioral needs so they can be safely educated in district schools. The Social Worker is a district-level resource who works across buildings, delivers and monitors evidence-based prevention and intervention strategies, supports threat and safety assessment processes, coordinates services with school staff and community partners, and performs the documentation and reporting required by the STOP grant.
