Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about helping families feel at ease? Children's Dental Center is looking for a warm, energetic Patient Coordinator to join our growing pediatric dental practice. Help us create a positive experience for kids and parents from the moment they call our office! This role is a critical part of our practice and will work in a dedicated call-center area on the top floor of our office in central Sioux Falls. At Children's Dental Center, we provide comprehensive dental care for children in a welcoming, kid-friendly environment. We believe in making every appointment stress-free, educational, and fun. As part of our team, you'll be helping create bright smiles — and happy families.

7am•1:30pm
Thursday:
7am•5pm
Friday:
7am•12pm
Essential Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patients for dental treatment. Triage and transfer phone calls as necessary. Make outgoing phone calls to confirm patient appointments. Update necessary documentation in patients' charts. Monitor the shared office email and respond to inquiries. Communicate with external dental offices and handle patient referrals to our practice. Additional duties as needed such as following up with patients, transferring records, and other necessary tasks related to scheduling. Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
Preferred at least 1 year of experience in a dental office setting. Must communicate effectively and demonstrate a passion for customer service. Must have a positive, upbeat attitude and display a commitment to helping teammates. Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients and parents. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic health records/patient management systems preferred.
