Job Description

Mercy Community Healthcare has an opening for a Coordinator of School-Based Therapy in Franklin, TN. We are looking for enthusiastic people with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve in our community. This position will support the expansion of Mercy's school-based therapy program to a surrounding rural county.
Mercy's Mission:
The mission of Mercy Community Healthcare is to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to ALL and support to their families. We provide care to the uninsured, underinsured and insured through pediatric and adult primary care, mental and behavioral health services, and care coordination. The Coordinator of School-Based Therapy carries a case load and provides therapy to clients within the school setting. The Coordinator of School-Based Therapy will provide supervision to School-Based Therapists, partner with the school district to assess and plan for the needs of the schools and assist Director of School-Based Therapist with program management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining a case load of clients as determined by Director of School-Based Therapy. Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent therapeutic services to clients on caseload Coordinator will supervise School-Based Therapists as assigned by Director Provide clinical and/or licensure supervision to their team of School-Based Therapists at timeframes agreed upon by Therapist, Coordinator and Director Available to School-Based Therapists for questions and concerns and support as needed Approve all documentation from new School-Based Therapists and temp-licensed School-Based Therapists Assist with new hire orientation and ongoing training Assist School-Based Therapists with meeting the needs of their assigned schools Coordinator is responsible for meeting the needs of the district, including the needs of each school, the students, and the staff as identified by school administration. Regular communication with district level school administrators, including emails, phone calls and in person meetings; coordinate and collaborate with Director. First line of communication regarding any concerns from school staff; appropriately communicate information to Director and collaborate to identify and implement solutions Responsible for the scheduling, planning and implementation of Professional Development Trainings, including school specific and district wide Attend district level activities and meetings as requested by school district staff and coordinate with Director Monitor any changes to district policy and procedures; collaborate with Director and communicate with School-Based team Maintain accurate School Crisis protocol and train School-Based Therapists as needed Identify summer planning for the district, including school closures, summer school, school activities and trainings; collaborate with Director and communicate with School-Based staff Communicate with school district all updates to Mercy staffing, policies and procedures, etc. and address any concerns Coordinator will be responsible for district productivity and quality goals Track School-Based Program productivity reports and School-Based Therapists caseloads and assess for trends and need areas Collaborate with School-Based Therapists to identify barriers and assist with brainstorming plans; collaborate with school administrator and Director as needed Follow up on any plans to address barriers in SBT supervision Assist in quality initiatives, including tracking of Key Performance Indicators Coordinator will work with other Mercy departments as needed to provide excellent services and focus on integrative healthcare for clients
Minimum Qualifications:
Education :
A master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, or another related field. Must be licensed in Tennessee as a LMFT, LPC-MHSP or LCSW and be an approved Licensure Supervisor in Tennessee.
Experience :
Supervisory experience, including clinical supervision and program management, is required.
