$45,000 - $50,000 annually Reports to : Team Coordinator About Us Allied Behavioral Health Solutions (ABHS) is a locally owned organization dedicated to collaborating with individuals, families, medical providers, and communities to achieve better outcomes for all. Since 2017, ABHS has been committed to providing high-quality and accessible behavioral health services across Middle and East Tennessee. Our unique approach integrates behavioral health and primary care services, ensuring that every client's needs are met through a team-based approach. Our staff specializes in various topics and treatment methods, allowing us to meet each client wherever they are. We are dedicated to building relationships with clients, families, medical providers, and communities to build an allied system of support to create better outcomes for all. Primary Function The primary function of this position is to provide individual and group counseling services, in collaboration with school counselors, for children within the Jefferson County school system. Positions will be placed with identified schools and will cover grades Pre-K through 12. Primary Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling services utilizing evidence-based practices. Provide education regarding behavioral health needs to staff and families as needed. Appropriately assess and diagnose identified client, per insurance requirements. Maintain timely intake, session, data collection, and billing documentation. Collaborate with school counselors on school needs and RTI-B tiered intervention. Assist with implementation of regulating and coping activities for students as needed. Coordinate referrals and additional services within and outside of the school system to support student outcomes. Cooperate with Team Coordinator to identify ongoing needs for behavioral health services and make appropriate recommendations for programming that may best support the identified children/families. Required Skills and Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting professional knowledge and demeanor in all forms of communication. Ability to build strong rapport with children, adolescents, and families quickly. Capacity to work individually and in a family context. Ability to remain calm and effectively manage crisis situations. Capacity to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team. Capability to collect data and engage in appropriate feedback. Commitment to equity, allyship, and affirming practices for LGBTQ+ communities and diverse backgrounds. Minimum Requirements Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or related discipline. LCSW, LPC-MHSP, Licensed School Counselor, pre-licensed licensure-track, or other related licensure is preferred. Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience working in a medical and/or clinical setting is preferred.
