Operations Supervisor Purpose of Position:
Provide support for the manager, staff , and clients , along with maintaining and monitoring the daily workflow. Be committed to strengthening vulnerable families.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Encourage and equip our clients to build stronger families through education, mentoring, and other resources. Maintain the cleanliness of the BFRC-diaper hub, restrooms, porch area, break room area, refrigerator, cottage, & front porch area. Daily setup and opening of the BFRC/diaper bags in the correct location Track the Diaper Drives/update the Excel Sheet/Weekly Diaper Pantry Report; Handle the gondola; ensure it is cleared out on Mondays and all donations are put away quickly. Monitor emails/respond; check the calendar and referral sheet Communicate all pertinent information to the Manager/Assist M. Ensuring the product in store is up to date and relevant to our clients' needs Restocking shelves in the Family Boutique daily before we close/open Adding NEW clients weekly outreach/report Attend various workshops and conferences that are recommended to increase skills and staff development. Complete weekly TPCN invoicing by Friday evening Knowledgeable in all aspects of TPCN Compliance; fulfilling the role of Counselor Manager, including invoicing goals, monitoring counselor activity and adherence to policies, annual monitoring, and reporting) Ensuring that daily client detail sheets are completed fully Assist with volunteers when needed In the absence of a volunteer, be prepared to prepare diaper bags Attend Diaper Days, Diaper events, fundraisers, etc…. Monitor and help out at the front desk if no one is available

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Be a committed Christian; active in the Christian community; Be committed to the sanctity of human life perspective. High School Diploma must; Two years of college in human services or social work preferred: Minimum two years' experience in customer service; one year preferred in volunteer management/community outreach. Driver's license and valid transportation required. Support Manager/Assist Manager through workflow procedures Technology skills, including expertise with Microsoft Office. Google and database management; willingness to learn new applications and identify innovative ways for technology to support organizational objectives. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities, and able to react and adjust quickly to changing conditions. Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively and articulately in writing and orally Strong donor focus in all tasks and activities, even while at times under pressure. Have no substantiated report as perpetrator of neglect or abuse;and are able to pass a 3-part background check Be able to maintain confidentiality concerning clients and their children; Solid time management/multi-tasking skills/quick decision making Be physically able to fulfill all responsibilities of the position; standing for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, and lifting to 30 lbs. Great listening skills; able to take directions from the manager Solid time management/multi-tasking/quick decision-making Sense a direct calling from God to serve in this area of ministry. Initiative Taker/set an example for staff Responsible, goal-oriented, and well-organized Have a teachable heart and willingness to work with the Executive Director. Manager, team of staff, board, and volunteers. Some evening and weekend hours are required. REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Family Advocate reports directly to the Bridges Resource Center Manager
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in Bridges Resource Center with communal areas as well as an office setting Requires the ability to monitor and observe the activities of clients (adult and child) within the resource center Regular exposure to cleaning products, chemicals, and solvents Routine need to move or transport supplies or other equipment, potentially while ascending or descending stairs
