Position Summary:
The Supervised Visitation Case Manager is responsible for supervising the visits to ensure a safe, secure environment while completing appropriate documentation. Supervised Visitation Manager/Monitors supervise/watch the visit between non-custodial/ visting parents and their child(ren) while documenting their interactions. This includes monitoring and, if necessary, intervening with the parent or child when inappropriate behaviors are demonstrated. Responsibilities also include but not limited to the file management and calendaring.
Definition:
A "monitor/observer" is used as the same term with the company and on all contracts. This is a person paid for providing Supervised Visitation Services or Neutral Exchanges, the persons will be an independent contractor, employee, intern, or volunteer operating independently or through our Supervised Visitation Center. Employee Qualifications:
I. Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license; 2. Have a Background check completed and passed; 3. Have no record of a conviction for driving under the influence (OUT) within last ten years; 4. Not have been on probation or parole for the last IO years from present date; 5. Have no record of a conviction for child(ren) molestation, child(ren) abuse, or other crimes against a person; 6. Have no civil, criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the last IO years from present date; 7. Have no current or past court order in which the provider is the person being supervised; 8. Be able to speak the language of the party being supervised and of the child(ren), or provider must provide a neutral interpreter over 18 years of age who is able to do so; 9. Agree to adhere to and enforce the court order regarding supervised visitation; I 0. Must follow all guideline specified and in contract with the designated schools' field and internship regulations. This includes maintaining the designated Grade Point Average (GPA) and attendance of the partnering school; if applicable; 11. Must complete course training, and pass exam and receive a certificate of completion; 12. Must have reliable transportation; 13. High school diploma, state certificate or transcript or certificate equivalent of a high school diploma; 14. I-year experience providing supervision and oversight of young children and the ability to assess appropriate parenting preferred;
