  • Mental Health/Case Management Alafia Behavioral Support Services, LLC Houston, TX Job Details Part-time | Contract From $23 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Schedule management Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Alafia Behavioral Support Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate and reliable Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to support children and families in the Houston area.
This role involves working directly with clients in their homes and communities to help them build daily living skills, improve emotional regulation, and connect with needed resources. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as many of the families we serve are Spanish-speaking. However, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide mental health skill-building services to children and families
  • Help clients develop coping skills, routines, and independence
  • Assist families with accessing community resources and services
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Encouraged):
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with mental health skill-building or case management (MHRS/TCM)
  • Active CANS and ANSA certification (both strongly preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already certified)
  • Completion of Nurturing Parenting Program training (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with children and families
