A school district in Kenosha, WI is seeking dedicated School Social Workers for full-time positions at elementary, middle, and high school levels. These roles focus on supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing vital social and emotional services within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized interventions for students with IEPs Conduct assessments and provide counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Facilitate communication among families, schools, and community resources to support student well-being Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation of support plans Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote academic and personal success
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid School Social Worker license Master of Social Work degree Previous school-based social work experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
