Job Overview The Child Nutrition Worker plays a vital role in ensuring that children receive nutritious and appealing meals in a safe and welcoming environment. This position involves preparing, serving, and maintaining food service operations while adhering to food safety standards. Duties Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established dietary guidelines and menus. Ensure all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with children, staff, and parents. Support special events such as banquets or catering functions as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during meal service times.
