Job Description
Great Hearts Academies Position:
Assistant Campus Coordinator for Co-Curricular Programs (2026-2027)Summary:
The Co-Curricular programs at Great Hearts Academies include After-School Athenaeum, Homework Club and Summer Programs. A Campus Coordinator on each Great Hearts campus manages these co-curricular programs. Reporting to the Campus Coordinator is an Assistant Campus Coordinator. The duties of the Assistant Campus Coordinator may include teaching in any grade level classroom and providing managerial and operational support to the Campus Coordinators with staff, students, parents, academy partners, and with administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, payroll, supplies ordering, curriculum writing, etc. Great Hearts Co-Curricular programs are an extension of the regular day/year at the academy, and as such, they provide scholars with additional academic opportunities, as well as culturally-enriching activities. The successful candidate will therefore be passionate about high-quality out-of-school programming, especially in the areas of classical education and the liberal arts and sciences.Time Commitment and Reporting:
This is an 11-month position beginning in August and continuing through Summer Programs in June. Hours are approximately Monday-Thursday, 2:45-6:15 pm/ Friday, 12:45-6:15 pm, but do not exceed 20 hours per week during the school year. Summer Program hours may vary. Workdays are in alignment with the Academic Calendar. There are no after-school programs when school is not in session. This is a non-benefits-eligible position.Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a principled, professional, experienced leader with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others. S/he must demonstrate sound business judgment, as well as extreme tact, diplomacy, and wisdom dealing with people. S/he will possess requisite experience and interest in the field(s) of liberal arts and/or education, as well as experience with children and children's programming. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google suite preferred.Personal Qualities and Values:

Other Requirements:
Must complete Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance and background check.Physical functions:
Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 50 pounds approximately. For More Information About theHiring Process:
