reviews $23.83 - $25.01 an hour - Part-time Behavioral Interventionists on our School-Based Services Teams help remove barriers to education for children and youth with social, emotional and behavioral challenges, with a strong focus on early intervention for preschool and early childhood populations. By supporting young children during critical stages of development, you help build foundational skills in emotional regulation, communication and social interaction that set the stage for long-term success. Using a strengths-based, developmentally appropriate approach, you support children in building coping skills, confidence and positive relationships. Through close collaboration with families, early childhood educators, and mental health providers, your work contributes to improved stability, school readiness and access to learning opportunities across early childhood, school and community settings. This is a grant funded part-time, twenty-five hour per week limited service position. Education/Experience High school diploma. Bachelor's degree in human services, education or psychology, preferred. Additional Requirements Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to interact well with parents, school and WCMHS staff, and other professionals. Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, access to a safe, reliable and insured vehicle are required.
