Allen Brook School This position will remain open until filled. However, applications received within the first seven days of posting will receive priority consideration. Allen Brook School (ABS) is seeking a relationship-driven and culturally responsive educator to support our multilingual learners and families in our PreK program starting FY27. This 0.2 FTE role is designed for a professional who is passionate about building strong home-school connections and ensuring families feel welcomed, informed, and confident as they navigate the school system. Primary Responsibilities Conduct home visits to build trust and establish strong relationships with multilingual students and their families. Serve as a liaison between home and school, supporting clear communication and understanding of school systems. Support families in acclimating to school routines, expectations, and culture. Assist with transition planning from PreK to Kindergarten in collaboration with school staff. Partner with teachers and support staff to ensure aligned, responsive support for students and families. Connect families to relevant school and community resources. Provide translation/interpretation support, as appropriate. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Experience working with multilingual learners and/or families. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both in-person and in writing. A commitment to equity and inclusivity, helping to develop an environment that welcomes all students and families. A background in early childhood education (preferred). Bilingual/multilingual skills (strongly preferred). Dependability and passion for helping young children and their families succeed in a school environment.
