This part-time position plays a vital role in supporting Wisconsin families involved in adoption, parenting support programs, and post-permanency out-of-home care services. Position Summary The Family Services Social Worker is responsible for planning, promoting, and coordinating activities and services for Wisconsin families involved in adoption or out-of-home care, in accordance with program contracts. The position provides direct support, resources, and case management services to families and may include conducting assessments, maintaining case records, and preparing reports. This is an in-office position working 20-28 hours per week . Regular travel and community outreach throughout the region are required. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and promote activities and services for families involved in adoption and out-of-home care programs. Provide support, resources, and referrals to families participating in adoption, parenting support, and post-permanency services. Conduct assessments and maintain accurate case documentation. Provide case management and follow-up services as needed. Prepare reports and ensure compliance with program requirements and contracts. Participate in community outreach and engagement activities throughout the service area. Collaborate with families, community partners, and agency staff to support positive outcomes. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field preferred. Experience Experience in adoption, foster care, family services, event planning, or related human services programs preferred. Certification Wisconsin Certified Social Worker (CSW) credential preferred, or comparable professional certification. Compensation Starting wage is approximately $27.00 per hour , with final compensation based on education, credentials, and relevant experience. Requirements Successful completion of a background check. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. Acceptable driving record. Proof of automobile insurance. Ability to travel throughout the region as needed.
