Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries to lead and inspire our community's next generation. This dynamic leader will develop, coordinate, and oversee programs that nurture spiritual growth, foster community engagement, and support families through various stages of life. The ideal candidate will bring a vibrant passion for ministry, exceptional leadership skills, and a heart dedicated to mentoring children, youth, and their families in a welcoming and supportive environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding young hearts and minds while strengthening family connections within our faith community. Duties Design and implement innovative programs for children, youth, and families that align with the church's mission and values Lead, train, and mentor ministry staff, volunteers, and lay leaders to ensure effective program delivery Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages spiritual development and active participation among all age groups Coordinate special events such as retreats, holiday celebrations, outreach activities, and educational workshops Collaborate with other church departments to integrate family ministries into overall church life Develop fundraising initiatives to support ministry programs and community outreach efforts Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, volunteers, and church leadership to promote transparency and shared vision Qualifications Proven leadership experience in children's or youth ministry within a faith-based setting Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse age groups and backgrounds Knowledge of social mentoring strategies Experience in event planning, program development, and volunteer coordination Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, families, and community partners Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diversity of thought and background Join us in shaping the future by nurturing faith-filled families!
