Work Schedule:
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with hours primarily falling Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Social Work Supervisor to: Provide day-to-day operational oversight and frontline leadership for the social work team, ensuring appropriate staffing coverage and supporting timely, patient-centered care delivery. Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate onboarding and orientation activities to ensure new employees achieve competency and are prepared for independent practice. Coach, mentor, and support social workers through regular supervision, case consultation, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Promote adherence to departmental policies, workflows, documentation standards, and evidence-based social work practices. Foster staff engagement by identifying educational needs, facilitating learning opportunities, and encouraging participation in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices that improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes. Monitor team performance and provide timely feedback, coaching, and support to promote accountability, continuous learning, and high-quality patient care. Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff, assisting with complex situations, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
