Job description is available online at hardycountyschools.com or upon request. Will develop and manage apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship pathways for future educators. Will collaborate with Moorefield High School, East Hardy High School, and colleges for program implementation.

Qualifications:

West Virginia Professional Teaching/Support Certificate Three (3) years of successful work experience in workforce development, education, or related industry experience Experience with teacher preparation programs Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process Complete all required county and WVDE trainings The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations

Additional Minimum Requirements:

Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration. Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date:

2025-2026 School Year Only.

End Date:

June 15, 2026

Contract Days:

Not to exceed thirty (30) hours per week. Evening and weekend hours as needed

Salary:

$30.00 per hour, paid through Perkins Grant funds, not to exceed $10,000.00 Successful Applicant must be available to oversee Summer Programs during the entirety of their duration.
