Family Advocate

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Advocate to join our early childhood center-based program. The Family Advocate will play a crucial role in supporting families, promoting positive parent-child relationships, and ensuring that children receive the resources they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain trusting relationships with families. Conduct home visits and family assessments to identify strengths and needs. Develop and implement family partnership agreements. Provide resources and referrals to community services. Advocate for families within the program and the community. Facilitate parent education workshops and support groups. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support children's development. Maintain accurate and confidential records of family interactions. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Experience working with families is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of community resources and services. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Full-time Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
