In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and patient-centered care to diverse populations, including adults and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, and behavioral health issues. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference through evidence-based practices and collaborative care approaches. Duties Conduct thorough participant biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical interviews to determine their needs. Deliver individual and group therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage emergency situations with professionalism and sensitivity. Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the care team that are aligned with clinical documentation standards while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, educators, and community agencies to support holistic patient well-being. Maintain accurate records and document progress notes, care plans, and clinical outcomes diligently. Engage in clinical research initiatives related to behavioral health or mental health counseling to enhance evidence-based practices. Provide specialized services such as addiction counseling as needed. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the respective state or jurisdiction. Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health interventions. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, psychiatric patient care standards, and clinical documentation requirements aligned with HIPAA regulations. Experience working with adults and seniors in community settings. Proficiency in documentation and data collection. Ability to perform comprehensive participant assessments, crisis management, case management supervision, and evidence-based practice implementation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; experience in social work settings is advantageous. Commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in clinical research or continuing education related to mental health or behavioral health topics.
