Inpatient LCSW

Clinical Scope & Departmental Rotation You will provide comprehensive clinical social work, crisis intervention, bio-psychosocial assessments, and complex discharge planning across five core specialties: Emergency Department (ED): Handle acute trauma response, crisis stabilization, substance use navigation, and safety planning on the fly.

NICU & Pediatrics:

Provide vital emotional support, resource allocation, and protective services navigation for high-risk neonates and their families.

Transplant Services:

Navigate the strict, complex psychosocial evaluations and compliance metrics required for organ transplant candidates and recipients.

Medicine & Surgery Teams:

Drive length-of-stay efficiency by managing complex discharges, insurance authorizations, and post-acute care transitions for complex medical-surgical patients. What You Must Bring to the

Table Licensure:

Active, unrestricted California LCSW (Board of Behavioral Sciences) is an absolute must.

Travel Tenure:

Minimum of 1 full year of active travel contract experience (Non-negotiable).

Medical Foundation:

Minimum 2 years of post-LCSW Medical Social Work experience, ideally within an academic medical hospital within the last 1-5 years.

Flexibility:

Absolute willingness to work a variable schedule that includes one weekend day per week and occasional evening coverage as unit needs dictate.

Pay:

$62.00 - $64.00 per hour
