Job Summary The Licensed Clinical Social Worker performs primary intensive therapy services to the residents of Oroville Hospital Acute Care Center, providing evaluation of problems presented, and developing and implementing treatment plans. Duties Provide effective individual and group therapy Determine realistic goals for therapy sessions Provides evaluation of problems presented and develops and implements treatment plans Demonstrate an understanding of patient needs when devising and implementing treatment plans Prepares case histories with particular emphasis on psycho-social factors affecting residents Cooperates with other staff members in carrying out treatment plans Interprets and explains to residents and their families the social and emotional factors pertaining to illness Performs evaluations on potentially suicidal or depressed individuals Evaluates and assesses patients exhibiting bizarre, suicidal or agitated behavior upon request of the staff Writes and maintains records and reports regarding resident status and action taken Provide team consultation in conjunction with psychiatrist Performs related duties as required Light- generally lifting not more than 20 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs.Job Posted:
