Amethyst Behavioral Health, LLC is a 12-bed, 18-mo State Licensed Facility. ABH is Social Rehabilitation Program for those with chronic mental illness such as schizophrenia, depression and anxiety, etc. We additionally have a Mental Health Certification from Department of Behavioral Health and a MEDICAL certification. Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate State of California Licensed Marriage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a commitment to helping residents navigate challenges through effective therapeutic interventions. This role involves working with individuals and families to promote mental well-being, facilitate communication, and develop coping strategies. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to address individual needs Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and MEDICAL requirements Provide individual therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities, including behavioral therapy Conduct therapy groups Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, Tittle 22, Title 9 and various other regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for residents Offer addiction counseling and support for residents dealing with substance use issues and Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical counseling. Requirements Master's degree in Marriage Family Therapy Valid licensure as a therapist (LMFT) in the state of California Experience in behavioral health settings with knowledge of applied behavior analysis preferred Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with managing medical records Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality Experience in addiction counseling or clinical counseling is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and A commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional growth.
