Job Description

Job Description Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team serving a community-based healthcare setting. This role provides outpatient mental health services in a collaborative environment focused on improving access to care and supporting individuals and families. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental and behavioral health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse populations across various settings. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, effective documentation practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to promote whole-person care and overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and maintain accurate documentation Assess and manage suicide and homicide risk Provide individual, group, and family therapy Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team Address social determinants of health to support patient outcomes Connect patients with community resources and support services Utilize strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Maintain compliance with licensure and ethical standards Support school-based services as needed Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required Active LCSW license in Connecticut (or eligibility) Experience in outpatient or community-based behavioral health preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Ability to commute between to sites (North Caanan and Winsted) Benefits Generous paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer match Life and disability insurance options Flexible scheduling Professional development opportunities Eligibility for NHSC loan repayment
Pay:
$57,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
