Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services to diverse populations. In this engaging position, you will provide expert clinical counseling, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans to support individuals across the lifespan. Your expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management will help empower clients to achieve their mental health goals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical counseling sessions for individuals and groups. Deliver evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to client needs. Provide specialized care for populations such as PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities. Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention to ensure client safety and stability during urgent situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, document medical records accurately using EMR systems, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate behavioral change and support addiction counseling efforts. Participate in clinical research initiatives by collecting data, maintaining detailed medical documentation, and contributing to ongoing studies related to mental health and behavioral health outcomes. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the relevant state or jurisdiction. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and data collection tools used in clinical research settings. Excellent crisis management skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information; familiarity with mental health legislation is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and medical staff.
