Week Compensation Weekly Pay:

$1,800•$2,150 Compensation based on experience and eligibility. Position Overview A healthcare facility in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with oncology experience for a travel assignment. The LCSW will provide psychosocial support, counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination for oncology patients and their families within a hospital setting. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for oncology patients and families Provide counseling, emotional support, crisis intervention, and coping strategies Assist patients with adjustment to diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life concerns Coordinate discharge planning and referrals to community resources Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies Advocate for patient rights and access to supportive services Support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and treatment-related stress Qualifications Active Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of recent LCSW experience within the specialty required Minimum 1 year of oncology experience required Prior hospital-based social work experience strongly preferred Strong communication, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills required For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
