The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse patient populations, including children, adults, and seniors. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies within a multidisciplinary setting. The Clinical Therapist will play a vital role in supporting patients through crisis intervention, behavioral health management, and recovery processes, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and crisis management techniques. Implement specialized care approaches for populations with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics, and other chronic conditions. Utilize EMR systems for documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, progress notes, and medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that incorporate social work principles and case management strategies. Engage in clinical research activities related to mental health interventions and behavioral health outcomes. Maintain ongoing professional development through training in medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding updates, psychopharmacology, and specialized therapies such as special education or Christian counseling. Provide crisis intervention services as needed and participate in community outreach efforts for home & community care programs. Ensure patient safety through effective crisis management and adherence to ethical standards in mental health counseling. Requirements Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required. Proven experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations; experience working with children, individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred. Strong knowledge of mental health disorders including PTSD, addiction issues, depression, anxiety, adhd and working with people with disabilities. Proficiency in EMR systems and medical documentation practices aligned with HIPAA regulations. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation coding purposes. Experience in crisis intervention, case management, behavioral health treatment planning, and group therapy facilitation. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining professional boundaries. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage patients effectively across age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics. Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as psychopharmacology, special education strategies, CPT coding updates, and clinical research methodologies.
