Job Description

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Clinical InternJoin a Growing Mental Health Practice Quad Cities Mental Health (QCMH) is seeking compassionate, motivated, and clinically driven Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), therapists, and clinical interns to join our expanding behavioral health team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced board-certified psychiatrist within a collaborative and supportive outpatient mental health practice that has served the Quad Cities community for over 30 years. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are looking for clinicians who are passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care across the lifespan. We welcome both experienced professionals and emerging clinicians seeking mentorship and hands-on experience in outpatient psychiatry and behavioral health. Position Overview The clinician will provide psychotherapy, counseling, crisis support, and case coordination services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in an outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with psychiatric providers to support comprehensive treatment planning and continuity of care.
We are currently hiring:
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) LMSWs working toward clinical licensure Clinical interns / MSW interns Therapists interested in outpatient behavioral health Responsibilities Conduct psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy utilizing evidence-based approaches including CBT, motivational interviewing, supportive therapy, and trauma-informed care Support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress-related disorders, substance use concerns, and other behavioral health conditions Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, families, schools, and community resources when appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using EMR systems in compliance with HIPAA standards Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and treatment planning with psychiatric providers Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute emotional distress Assist with referrals, case management needs, and continuity of care planning Qualifications Active LCSW license in Illinois and/or Iowa preferred LMSW candidates and supervised interns are encouraged to apply Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related behavioral health field from an accredited program Strong interpersonal, clinical assessment, and communication skills Experience working with diverse populations across various age groups preferred Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation standards Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team Experience with trauma-informed care, addiction treatment, ADHD, or family systems is a plus Why Join QCMH?
