Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse populations across various settings. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, and behavioral issues, fostering resilience and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through evidence-based practices and collaborative care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems, to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement specialized interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or those requiring special education support. Facilitate crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure patient safety during acute episodes or emergencies. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care, medical records, intake notes, treatment progress, and clinical research data collection. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, educators, and community agencies to coordinate home-based and community care services. Engage in case management activities to support patients' ongoing needs across healthcare and social services settings. Provide culturally sensitive Christian counseling when appropriate, respecting individual beliefs while maintaining professional boundaries. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with medical terminology standards. Participate in research initiatives related to behavioral health outcomes or clinical research projects to advance best practices. Stay current on developments in psychopharmacology relevant to mental health treatment plans involving medication management. Conduct intake interviews to establish rapport and gather comprehensive psychosocial histories for effective treatment planning. Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with state-specific certification requirements fulfilled. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention techniques. Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care needs, geriatrics including Alzheimer's care, and individuals with disabilities. Experience working within hospital settings or community-based environments providing home & community care services is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes along with knowledge of CPT coding procedures for billing purposes. Background in working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, patients requiring special education services or those living with chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or PTSD. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatments as well as ICD coding systems for accurate record keeping. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding standards while managing complex cases involving addiction counseling or working with individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders.
