The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and be skilled in providing patient care through various therapeutic modalities. This role involves working with individuals and families to address mental health issues, facilitate crisis intervention, and promote overall well-being within the community. Dual Diagnostic patients are our main clients. Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families and groups through intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support clients in acute distress or emergency situations. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-10 standards and organizational policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Engage in home community care initiatives to support clients in their natural environments. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources. Requirements Valid LICSW license in the state of Massacheusetts. Strong knowledge of behavioral health systems and practices. Experience with crisis intervention strategies and techniques. Proficiency in medical documentation practices, including familiarity with ICD-10 coding. Demonstrated ability to provide effective patient care through various therapeutic approaches, including psychotherapy. Experience in addiction counseling is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining client confidentiality. Ability to supervise LCSW and Interns.
