Full-time Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our psychodynamic psychotherapy group private practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical social work setting either as an intern, LCSW, or LICSW and possess knowledge, training and experience in various psychotherapeutic modalities. The ideal candidate will be interested in joining our practice's efforts to build a collaborative, energizing, and enjoyable group practice dedicated to improving the sustainability of mental health care for clinicians. Experience with psychodynamic principles is preferred, though on-the-job training and support for interested learners will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychodynamically-informed psychotherapy sessions Perform biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate treatment Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes and medical records in compliance with regulations (in-house templates are provided for ease and efficiency of clinical documentation) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients Engage in weekly clinical supervision for support and coordination of care Participate in biweekly and monthly psychodynamic clinical and methodology trainings
Requirements:
Must hold a valid Massachusetts state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Proficiency in DSM-5 and ICD-9 coding and documentation standards Strong understanding of psychotherapeutic methods Strong interest in psychodynamic principles and a desire to continuously deepen clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong self-management strategies to support emotional regulation and wellbeing while maintaining a full caseload Ability to work effectively in a focused, collaborative, rigorous clinical environment
