Job Description:
Matrix Providers is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in Bethesda, MD (Walter Reed National Military Medical Center)
Employment Status:
Full-Time Compensation:
$50.98 to $53.66/hr
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM 40 hours per week. ( No Nights, No Weekends, No on-call )

Plan Requirements:
The Licensed Social Worker must have and meet the following:
Education:
Graduated from an ASWB-accredited Master of Social Work (MSW) program
Certification:
Must maintain current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course, American Red Cross CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for the Professional Rescuer, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical social work providing mental health counseling, therapy, and intervention services to adults.
Licensure:
Current unrestricted license Social Worker to work independently without clinical supervision.
Job Summary:
Sufficiently skilled to teach patients proper self-care and motivate them to continue procedures for promoting rapid healing. Knowledgeable with skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to patients of all ages, demonstrating understanding of growth and development principles. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, including evenings and weekends as needed. Possess knowledge and experience with the military health system, combat/deployment issues, and conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Knowledgeable in professional care theories, principles, practices, and procedures for nursing assignments of moderate difficulty. Conducts biopsychosocial evaluations and provides therapeutic interventions, including crisis counseling. Assesses and resolves complex social, economic, and psychosocial problems impacting patients' medical treatment. Develops comprehensive treatment care plans and maintains partnerships with Soldiers, family members, healthcare providers, and community resources. Coordinates services for high-risk populations and facilitates transfers when patients move out of the local area.
