Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Regional Brain & Spine - Cape Girardeau, MO Full-Time or Part-Time _________________________________________________________________________________________ About Regional Brain & Spine Regional Brain & Spine is a multi-specialty private practice serving Southeast Missouri and surrounding communities. Our team includes physicians and advanced practice providers specializing in: Pain Management Physiatry (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) Neurosurgery Weight Management We are committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care and are expanding our services to include integrated behavioral health support within our specialty clinic setting. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in either a full-time or part-time outpatient clinic role. This position will work collaboratively with our physicians and advanced practice providers to support patients dealing with chronic pain, rehabilitation needs, weight management challenges, and long-term medical conditions. This is a unique opportunity to practice within an integrated medical environment and help address the behavioral, emotional, and psychosocial factors that directly impact patient outcomes and treatment success. Schedule Monday - Friday Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No evenings No weekends No call responsibilities Flexible scheduling options available for qualified candidates. Primary Responsibilities Chronic Pain & Spine Support Provide behavioral health support and counseling for patients with chronic pain conditions Assist patients with coping strategies, adjustment to chronic illness, and treatment adherence Support patients undergoing interventional pain procedures and long-term treatment plans Rehabilitation & Physiatry Support Promote engagement with rehabilitation and home exercise programs Address psychosocial barriers to recovery and functional improvement Support patients adapting to injury, disability, or chronic physical limitations Weight Management Support Provide behavioral counseling related to lifestyle change and weight management goals Assist patients with motivation, emotional eating concerns, and long-term treatment adherence Care Coordination & Patient Advocacy Identify barriers to care and patient compliance Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to improve patient engagement and outcomes Assist with community resources, support systems, and care coordination when appropriate
Qualifications Required:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Missouri Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical teamPreferred:
