We do accept medicaid and most commercial insurances and are willing to credential with others if wanted. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and ethically grounded Mental Health Professional to join our team in Hickory, NC. This position is open to both Fully Licensed individuals (LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW) and Associate-Level clinicians (LCMHCA, LMFTA, LCSWA) who are actively working toward full licensure. We are very pro-family and will work with you and will allow for flexibility as we understand life happens and there may be moments you may not want to miss. Responsibilities & Duties Provide high-quality, client-centered individual, couples, or family psychotherapy. Conduct clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and develop customized treatment plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and ethically sound clinical documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans) via our EHR platform. Coordinate care with community partners or medical professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care. Participate in periodic team meetings and clinical consultations. We use the latest technology to accomplish our needs, but you are not required to use any of the extra tools such as AI note taking.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Active, valid license to practice therapy in North Carolina (LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW) or associate status (LCMHCA, LMFTA, LCSWA).
Please note:
Must be in good standing with your respective licensing board.
Experience:
Experience in a private practice, outpatient clinic, or community mental health setting preferred but not required for exceptional associate candidates.
Attributes:
Strong ethical boundaries, excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a desire to contribute positively to a team environment.
