In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical counseling, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals of all ages. Your expertise will support clients facing complex mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction, and other behavioral health issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based practices in a dynamic environment. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical counseling sessions for individuals and groups. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure immediate safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, especially when working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or geriatrics. Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, community resource linkage, and follow-up care to support long-term recovery. Participate in clinical research initiatives related to mental health, addiction counseling, or behavioral health outcomes to contribute to evidence-based practices. Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation purposes. Support patients through specialized services such as Alzheimer's care or working with individuals with disabilities in educational or hospital settings. Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with active NV State cCertification. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA). Demonstrated expertise working with adults and elderly populations within home care settings. Experience providing home-based or community care services is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR systems (Kantime) for efficient documentation and data collection. Background in clinical research is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and Geriatrics. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10) and CPT coding for billing purposes. Strong skills in crisis management, addiction counseling, social work practices, and patient assessment techniques. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality and security of medical records.
