Full Job Description Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a nonprofit founded in 1943, has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year. We are currently seeking a Bilingual Clinical Social Worker to join our Crime Victim Advocacy Support Services Program team. In this role, you will provide trauma-informed mental health services to individuals and families who have been impacted by crime. This is a full-time position with a salary of $75,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop written treatment plans in collaboration with clients. Monitor and update treatment plans on a quarterly basis, working with clients to achieve identified goals. Utilize and implement evidence-based clinical practice techniques. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including agency and OVS reports. Provide treatment in multiple modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy. Provide emergency and general coverage for the afterhours hotline. Deliver crisis intervention services as needed. Collaborate with community partners and maintain appropriate client-related contacts with external agencies and resources.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications: Valid NYS license as an LMSW or LCSW; LMHC's are also encouraged to apply. Thorough knowledge of clinical practices and therapeutic approaches for individuals and families impacted by trauma and crime. Bilingual English/Spanish. Ability to work two late nights per week, typically until 7pm. Ability to travel throughout Westchester County, as needed.
