Job Description

Header Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate mental health and behavioral services to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will work closely with individuals across age groups, including children, adults, and geriatrics, providing tailored support within clinical, community, and home settings. Your dedication will help foster resilience, promote recovery, and enhance overall well-being through comprehensive patient assessments and evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Facilitate crisis intervention and manage urgent situations with professionalism and sensitivity, ensuring patient safety at all times. Implement psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, social work strategies, and specialized approaches such as Christian counseling or PTSD care when appropriate. Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts for patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's disease, or other chronic conditions. Collect data for clinical research projects to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice development. Assist with intake procedures, patient care coordination, and discharge planning to ensure seamless service delivery across hospital or community settings. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health counseling, and addiction counseling. Strong working knowledge of EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical records management. Expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disabilities. Skilled in crisis management strategies for mental health emergencies involving PTSD or suicidal ideation. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. Experience in home & community care environments along with hospital settings is highly desirable.
