Requirements:
Active Washington State LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT license First-time travelers accepted Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adult and pediatric patients Emergency Department or hospital behavioral health experience preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Experience working with patients experiencing mental health crises
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial, psychiatric, and crisis risk assessments for adult and pediatric emergency department patients Evaluate patients for safety concerns, suicide risk, and appropriate levels of care Develop discharge plans and coordinate referrals to community resources and behavioral health services Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and multidisciplinary care teams Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support to patients and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Advocate for patient needs and facilitate continuity of care
Assignment Details:
Float may be required between facilities performing similar duties Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday) No on-call requirements Expected caseload ratio: 1:7
Preferred Qualifications:
