Our Behavioral Health Department provides residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment services for individuals struggling with substance-use disorders and co-occurring disorders. We also provide mental health counseling services for adults and teenagers who are referred to us from within our provider network. About the position: This position is part of an intensive care team that focuses on assessment and safety planning for those at the greatest risk of danger to self or others or grave disability due to mental illness. This includes crisis assessments and ongoing clinical support services to allow individuals with serious mental illness to continue living in their community and disrupt emergency out-of-area hospitalizations as much as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences 2 years of Clinical - Mental Health Counselor experience State of Alaska Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or eligibility to obtain licensure upon hire
PREFERRED
Doctorate in Psychology OR Doctorate in Social Work State of Alaska Licensed Psychologist 3+ years of counseling experience, including inpatient and outpatient settings Become part of a supportive and dynamic team where your contributions matter. today to make a difference with CPH!
