CPR Full Job Description Therapist I Supervisor:
Children's Division Director Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in one of the Behavioral Sciences and Medicaid Eligibility, valid driver's license, CPR, First Aid, and CPI Certification.
Salary range based on experience:
$39,000-$50,000 per year Why You'll Love This Role Meaningful, hands-on impact with children and families Variety in work settings ( home, school, community ) Supportive, team-oriented environment Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity to serve as an advocate for mental health services Key Responsibilities Direct Clinical Services Conduct intake interviews, psychosocial assessments, and diagnostic evaluations Provide individualized, evidence-based therapy in accordance with DMH standards and agency policies Deliver services in home, school, residential, and community settings Coordinate aftercare services for clients transitioning from higher levels of care Follow up on missed or canceled appointments to ensure continuity of care Make appropriate clinical referrals using sound professional judgment Meet assigned productivity and billable service expectations Documentation & Compliance Complete accurate, concise clinical documentation within one working day Maintain compliance with Medicaid, DMH, and agency requirements Crisis Intervention & Client Support Respond to crisis and emergency situations as needed Participate in on-call or crisis response rotation (as applicable) Ensure client safety and follow all emergency protocols Transport clients when necessary in accordance with agency guidelines Community Collaboration & Education Collaborate with schools, families, and community agencies Provide consultation and education to community partners and stakeholders Serve as a positive advocate for children's mental health services Professional Development Participate in trainings, workshops, and quality assurance activities Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional literature Engage in supervision, team meetings, and interdisciplinary collaboration Additional Responsibilities Perform other clinical or non-clinical duties as assigned
