Job Description

Mental Health Professional (MHP) Families, Inc. - Brookland Public Schools About Families, Inc. Families, Inc. is a leading community mental health provider dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities across Arkansas. Position Summary The Mental Health Professional (MHP) is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to assigned clients within Brookland Schools based on clinical need. Services include intake assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct mental health services, including intake assessments, treatment planning, individual/family/group therapy, and crisis interventions Deliver services at approved locations as determined by clinical necessity Monitor caseload daily using the MHP Caseload Compliance Report in Credible and complete all required documentation Complete treatment plans every 180 days Ensure all documentation required by Managed Care and/or private insurance is completed for reimbursement approval Complete daily progress notes and Safety/Incident Reports on or before the end of the next calendar day in accordance with Policy 4-4, Contemporaneous Documentation Furnish required reports to DCFS, the legal system, and other involved agencies Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and Privacy Practices Attend monthly clinic meetings and medical staff staffing meetings, maintaining a 90% compliance rate Provide QBHP supervision and observation in accordance with company policy Testify in court as required Maintain an active Arkansas license as an approved Mental Health Professional Perform other duties as assigned Education & Licensure Requirements Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling Current Arkansas licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Job Skills & Qualifications Required:
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines Ability to provide ethical and effective mental health services to clients, families, professionals, and staff Willingness to travel as required
