Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health and substance use counseling services to individuals and groups in an outpatient treatment setting. This role involves working with diverse populations facing mental health, substance use, trauma, and life challenges while helping them build the skills necessary for long-term success and recovery. The Therapist will utilize evidence-based practices, collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, and support clients in achieving their individualized treatment goals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and intake appointments Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches Provide crisis intervention and support clients experiencing acute emotional distress Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and recovery-focused goals Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA, agency standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with case managers, medical providers, peer supports, and community partners to coordinate care Participate in clinical staffing, supervision, and treatment team meetings Support clients in accessing community resources and ongoing recovery supports Utilize telehealth services when appropriate Qualifications Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Substance Use Counseling, or a related behavioral health field Licensed, associate licensed, or actively working toward licensure in Arizona Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, community mental health, or related settings preferred Knowledge of behavioral health terminology, treatment planning, and clinical documentation Strong understanding of crisis intervention and trauma-informed care Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds Commitment to ethical practice, professional growth, and client-centered care Preferred Experience Substance Use Disorders Co-Occurring Mental Health Disorders Trauma and PTSD Treatment Group Facilitation Family Counseling Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Residential, or Outpatient Treatment Settings Why Join Us?
