Benefits include:
Supervision, training, medical, 401k after 1 year, and PTO. Pay is $40 per client session for the first 90 days and then $45 per client session. We have 2 locations Mesa 2509 S. What We Offer Flexible Schedule:
Options for telehealth and in-person sessions (Chandler and Mesa offices). Full-time available.
Supervision & Growth:
Regular check-ins, clinical collaboration, resources, and training to support your professional journey toward independent licensure.
Streamlined Clinical Tools:
We use the Valant EHR system for efficient documentation, scheduling, assessments, and patient communication.
Admin Support:
Our front desk and billing team handle scheduling, insurance, claims, and payments so you can focus on your clients.
Insurance Partnerships:
Aetna, Cigna, BCBS plus affordable private pay options.

Your Role as an LAC Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans (with supervisor oversight). Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy. Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and treatment plans. Participate in case consultation, trainings, and supervision. Support clients with psychoeducation, community resources, and referrals. Facilitate DBT or skills groups (with training and support provided). Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling or related field Active Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) credential in Arizona (issued by AZBBHE) Professional malpractice liability insurance policy Strong oral and written communication skills Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and openness to feedback Familiarity with EHR platforms (Valant preferred) and basic knowledge of behavioral health insurance processes Our Commitment Core Balance Counseling is more than a practice, we are a community of healers.
