In this role, you will provide intensive outpatient therapy services designed to support individuals struggling with mental health challenges, substance use issues, and co-occurring disorders. Your expertise will help clients develop coping skills, achieve recovery goals, and improve overall well-being through evidence-based practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, within a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine treatment needs. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions to promote mental health stability and recovery. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change. Manage cases involving special populations such as children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, or those experiencing PTSD or grief. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure timely updates of medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans, case management strategies, and clinical research initiatives to optimize treatment outcomes. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) with experience in outpatient or inpatient settings. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling. Strong skills in crisis management, crisis intervention, behavior management, and social work principles. Experience working with diverse populations such as children & families, individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, and those requiring gender issues counseling or chronic pain counseling. Proficiency in medical terminology and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and familiarity with medical documentation standards. Telehealth experience preferred; ability to adapt seamlessly to virtual platforms for patient care delivery. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
